About JK

Jamie, known as JK to friends, is a mom, business owner, travel junkie, and teller of stories. She lives a short drive from the Maine coast with her family and two goofy Great Danes.

Her storytelling has historically been done through business branding, communication strategy, and marketing, but over the last few years, she has dug into her craft while attending writers’ workshops and poured her heart onto pages in the form of her first manuscript, BEFORE I GO. She was a 2023 International Page Turner Awards finalist, 2025 Tucson Festival of Books Annual Literary Awards semi-finalist, is finishing her Masters in Creative Writing and Literature at Harvard University, and is currently out on submission to publishers with her debut novel.
